COURSE DESCRIPTION
The purpose of our clinical neurodynamics course is to teach evidence based evaluation and treatment of common and uncommon pathologies and neuropathic pain syndromes using neurodynamics, and neural mobilization. The Course will teach the anatomy and physiology of nerves as well as the interpretation of Neural tension testing not only as an evaluation but for treatment as well. This course will teach evidence based practice, statistics, psychometrics and clinical decision making when and how to use neurodynamics. Additionally participants in our neurodynamics physical therapy courses will be taught the psychomotor skills to perform neurodynamics of the upper extremity, lower extremity and spine, as well as combining joint based manual therapy and neurodynamic principles together into treatment. Lastly self neurodynamics will be taught so therapist can educate patients on how to integrate these into a HEP.
Our clinical neurodynamics course, is led by the highly credentialed Dr. Brandon Cruz and Dr. Jeremy Boyd, is designed to impart comprehensive knowledge in the evaluation and treatment of various pathologies and neuropathic pain syndromes through both neurodynamics and neural mobilization. Dr. Cruz, with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy, & dual board certifications in Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation, brings a wealth of knowledge in advanced physical therapy techniques. Dr. Boyd complements this expertise with his own impressive credentials, including Fellowships in Orthopedic and Sports Manual Therapy, Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, and Sports Clinical Specialist certifications. Together, they offer a deep understanding of nerve anatomy and physiology, and the application of neural tension testing for evaluation and treatment purposes. The course emphasizes evidence-based practice, integrating statistics, psychometrics, & clinical decision-making in neurodynamics. Participants will gain hands-on experience in performance of neurodynamic techniques for the upper and lower extremities & the spine, skillfully combining joint-based manual therapy with neurodynamic principles. Furthermore, the course includes training in self-neurodynamics, which enables therapists to effectively guide patients in incorporating these techniques into their Home Exercise Programs (HEP). With Dr. Cruz and Dr. Boyd at the helm, this course offers a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field, enhancing both theoretical understanding & practical skills in neurodynamics.
Studies show that individuals who receive mentorship report greater job satisfaction, commitment, enhanced performance, and even higher earnings.
